TravelBFF is a diverse global travel community connecting women through unforgettable group trips and local adventures. What started in 2020 as an online space to find travel besties has grown into a movement. Since 2021, we’ve been exploring the world together.
Group trips:
We host bucket list group trips designed to be fun, safe, and deeply meaningful, all in partnership with trusted local tour teams. We’ve hosted to over 25 destinations such as Greece, Iceland, South Africa, Brazil, Peru and so much more. We announce the release of these trips via social media and email.
We now offer the option for you to initiate the trip and even have an opportunity to go for free. You no longer have to wait on companies or influencers to host certain trips because we’re providing you with all the tools.
Our mission: To facilitate travel for women by providing them with the community and tools while also supporting local businesses and creating an impact on the places we visit.

The Community & Meet-ups:
Our Facebook group with over 80,000 women are actually meeting up, making memories, and traveling near and far. We also occasionally host local meet-ups or promote meet-ups done by the community.
The community and Facebook group is filled with people volunteering their free time to moderate the online community and bring our best efforts to keep a fun and safe space for you.

The Founder
Melissa Jimenez is 28 and originally from Mexico, but she grew up in the USA. Surrounded by friends and family who rarely traveled outside North America, she always dreamed of finding travel buddies — like a matchmaker app, but for finding adventure friends. At 16, she left home to study alone and discovered what true loneliness feels like. That experience inspired her to create a space for people who want to explore but don’t want to do it alone.
Since turning 18, Melissa has been traveling the world, driven by a passion for connection and discovery. With a background in marketing and a heart for service, she built TravelBFF to create a welcoming, inspiring community where travelers can find their people and explore safely and meaningfully.
For Melissa, the best part is serving others. Knowing she can make a positive impact not only on travelers but also on the communities they visit motivates her every day to keep growing this movement.
