This trip is NON-refundable. But, you may transfer it to another member to receive your money back. Since our trips are in high demand, finding a replacement is usually easy. Your replacement will pay you through a bank transfer such as zelle, with the approval of the host. Please only book if you are 100% committed as replacements can become time consuming and stressful to our hosts. We also understand that life happens sometimes so we are more than happy to help you find a replacement. Ultimately you are responsible for finding your own replacement to receive your money back.

Also, travel insurance protects your purchase. Travel insurance is recommended and selecting the option “cancel for any reason” protects your purchases including your flight more.

We are all here for a pleasant experience and to enjoy our vacation. Come with an open mind, ready to meet a diverse group of people with different personalities. Be respectful to everyone and be inclusive. Anyone causing disruption, drama, harassment, fights, damage, theft, or anything else illegal will be removed from this trip at any time without a refund. This includes the group chat. Authorities will be contacted if necessary.

Remember and understand that we are still living under uncertain times, so the government may randomly add new restrictions to the places we visit. Travel insurance is available to purchase and is encouraged to do so within the first 3 days of booking for better coverage such as interruptions due to covid.

Being vaccinated is required to participate in this trip due to Colombia’s following rules:

Vaccinated non-resident foreign travelers must present proof they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 for at least 14 days prior to travel.

-If less than 14 days have elapsed or if the vaccination scheme is not complete, the traveler must present a PCR test with a negative result taken within 72 hours of boarding.

-Unvaccinated non-resident foreign travelers will not be allowed to enter Colombia.

To enter the US again you must show a negative covid test taken within 1 day

For this trip, we will be staying in a hostel. You will be sharing a room with 6 other members and you will each have your own bed with a private curtain. Bathrooms are shared. Having a private room with another member is optional and limited. Therefore please only book if you are okay with our room arrangements.

On Wednesday 3/9 at 7:30pm EST, You will find the booking link on this page. On top of the page, there is a pink button saying “book now” and at 7:30pm the button will work.

It will ask you for your instagram account, and dietary restrictions and a picture of you holding a valid passport right next to you.

You must agree to the requirements and then it will take you to the payment page.

Since the trip is almost a month away, the full deposit will be required. But you have options for payment plans. The person going on the trip must be the person making the purchase and the card used must be yours*

We usually offer Shop Pay installments divided into 4 payments every 2 weeks, but that adds costs to the final price for everyone. So instead we recommend to use the app Klarna. It is used by many retail stores and trusted. Here is their website and you can do your own research www.Klarna.com.

You can do 4 installments interest-free with 0 impact to your credit score. They also have options to do a longer monthly payment plan, but that option depends on your credit.

All you have to do is download the app, register and then paste the payment link on the app. Keep in mind you must paste the web page asking for your PAYMENT INFO, which you will get to after you answer the questions and agree to the rules.

Once payment has been successful, you will receive a email confirming your purchase right away (check spam folder)

Then, the host will send you another email with the link to the group chat and other important info. Please give us 24 hours to send out the email. Join the group chat as soon as you get it and stay tuned for important info such as travel insurance.
